War on Gaza Disgraced So-Called Advocates of Human Rights, Kuwaiti Activist Says
Hassan al-Qarashi, who is a member of the Arab country’s human rights organizations, told IQNA in an interview that Western governments’ support for the Israeli regime’s atrocities against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip showed their hypocrisy when it comes to defending human rights.
He said despite all their claims, the Western countries are partners in Israeli crimes, including the murder of Palestinian women and children and the complete blockade of Gaza.
Al-Qarashi lauded support for the oppressed people of Palestine among nations, particularly Muslim nations.
He especially hailed the all-out support for Palestine from the heroic people of Yemen.

Since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran, has also put backing Palestine top of its agenda and has turned the issue of Palestine into the Muslim world’s number one issue, he added.
Today, the people of the world have become united in voicing support for the Palestinian people and cause, he underlined.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Kuwaiti activist slammed certain Arab countries’ move to normalize ties with the Zionist regime, saying the move has no positive outcome either for resolving the Palestinian issue or for the people of these Arab states.
The governments of these countries must respect the wishes of their people and abandon normalization of ties with Israeli regime, he added.
